Local Food As Medicine (LocalFAM) is BRWIA's food access program, which enables community organizations to provide their neighbors with fresh, 有营养的食物, supplied by local producers. The food is free to our recipients, but producers are paid full retail price for their products. Funding is provided by grants.

From providing additional markets to on-farm trainings, our producer support offerings are based upon the needs of our community. 自2014年以来, we have offered a 工艺 (Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training) program that cultivates meaningful mentor relationships through peer-to-peer farmer trainings and an apprentice link webpage.

Formed in February 2016, the 高地食品中心 is a central storage facility and online farmers' market for locally grown food and made products.
